Sonnet launches new four-port USB-C PCI-e expansion card for Mac Pro tower

Sonnet on Wednesday rolled out two adapter cards, the Allegro USB-C 4-Port PCIe and the Allegro Pro USB 3.1 PCIe, both of which can add powered USB ports to any computer with a PCIe slot, or even Thunderbolt Macs when used in a Thunderbolt-to-PCIe enclosure.

Apple has revoked Facebook’s enterprise developer certificates after sideload violations

Apple has stopped Facebook from being able to use its internal apps by revoking its enterprise developer certificates, in response to reports the social network ignored guidelines relating to user privacy by distributing apps outside the app store, and paid users to install the spyware.

Former US spies used iPhone hack tool on dissidents, on behalf of UAE

Apple compares iOS updates to kitchen renovations in motion to dismiss iPhone slowdown lawsuit

Apple cannot be liable for slowing down iPhones via iOS updates, according to a motion to dismiss a lawsuit concerning efforts to prolong an iPhone’s battery life by reducing its performance, with the company arguing the suit is the equivalent of suing a building contractor for upgrading a kitchen.
