The violations, the filing states, are due to Apple’s operations of iCloud.The 37-page filing seen by AppleInsider is from the law firm Hagens Berman on behalf of main plaintiff Julianna Felix Gamboa. By news@appleinsider.com (Charles Martin) NSO Group will have to hand over the source code of its notorious Pegasus spyware to WhatsApp, a US district court has ruled.WhatsApp has been engaged in a US-based legal battle NSO Group, alleging that over 1,400 WhatsApp users in just a two-week period have been spied on using the Israeli company’s Pegasus malware. While the Israeli defense ministry considers the source code a state secret, US District Court Judge Phyllis Hamilton has granted WhatsApp’s request for information regarding the “full functionality” of Pegasus.Pegasus is a notorious spyware tool used by governments and security agencies to perform surveillance of persons of interest, by breaking into devices like the iPhone. Apple has worked to fight the effects of the spyware, warning journalists in Russia and users in Armenia about potential infections, among other actions.WhatsApp’s case centers on the idea that the Pegasus spyware intercepts information from various messaging apps, including itself as well as iMessage, Skype, Telegram, WeChat, Facebook Messenger, and others. By news@appleinsider.com (Charles Martin) Fans of the ‘Call of Duty’ franchise will soon be able to play ‘Warzone Mobile’ on their iPhone, with the release of the first-person shooter set for March 21.A little over a year since preorders opened, an official worldwide release date has finally emerged for the highly-anticipated mobile version of “Call of Duty: Warzone.” Activision Publishing, which originally anticipated a May 2023 release, pushed the project back to November 2023, but unexplained delays caused the company to push that back as well.The new official release date is March 21st for iOS and Android, and is accompanied by a new launch date reveal trailer. Years later, a version of the speaker that didn’t actually make it to retail has appeared.Tweets on February 28 and 29 from Jose Benitez Cong, formerly of Apple but now at Humane, included pictures of a variant of the iPod Hi-Fi that lost the white elements of its enclosure, in favor of a black version. The letter addresses concerns over Apple’s alleged non-compliance with the Digital Markets Act (DMA), which is set to go into effect on March 7.The signatories take issue with how Apple requires developers to stay within the current App Store ecosystem or opt into new terms.
