JPMorgan could take over duties as Apple Card issuer if it gets a good enough deal

JPMorgan seems interested in taking the mantle — but with conditions.Apple CardIt’s been known for some time now that Goldman Sachs has wanted to end its relationship with Apple, with whispers of unrest first appearing in June 2023. However, it wasn’t much of a surprise, as a report in January 2022 showed the investment bank lost $1.2 billion, chiefly because of the Apple Card.As a result, Apple and Goldman Sachs have begun looking for a replacement partner who would take over duties as card issuer. Apple beats Samsung to top ACSI personal computer satisfaction survey

After reaching a tie with Samsung for the 2023 results, the 2024 edition of the American Customer Satisfaction Index’s Household Appliance and Electronics Study puts Apple firmly on top.The 2024 ACSI results table upgraded Apple’s score from 83 in 2023 to 85 in 2024. Apple rolls out new developer betas of iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, macOS Sequoia 15.1

The fourth developer betas of iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1 are on a second beta track alongside those that will arrive in the fall. That first beta track includes iOS 18, iPadOS 18, tvOS 18, macOS Sequoia, watchOS 11, and visionOS 2.The fourth round replaces the third, which Apple introduced on August 28. Apple updates iWork productivity app suite with iOS 18 & macOS Sequoia features

One day later, and it’s brought out updates to Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.The iWork updates, appearing in the App Store for iOS and the Mac App Store, aren’t as extensive as their operating system counterparts.
