Budget Apple Vision Pro could be slimmer and brighter

By news@appleinsider.com (William Gallagher) Apple is still deciding on the displays for its expected lower-cost Apple Vision Pro, but is close to settling on a lower resolution screen that is brighter and also thinner than in the current headset.Inside of Apple Vision ProBack in 2023, it was believed that a future variation of the Apple Vision Pro would get a brighter display than the original model. Then in June 2024, Apple was reported to be looking to add component suppliers for that new headset.Now according to The Elec, Apple has two choices regarding the displays, and has a preference for one that would be slimmer than the display technology in the current Apple Vision Pro. Here’s what you need to know.Apple’s La Encantada store is moving to a new location. Image Credit: Apple.On Tuesday, Apple announced that its La Encantada retail store, in Tucson, Arizona will move to a new location that opens on November 9, at 10 AM local time. According to the company’s website, the temporary store will be located on Level 2 of the outdoor shopping center, just in front of the stairs.As MacRumors points out, the La Encantada store was originally opened two decades ago, in 2004. Apple may opt to renovate the original store location while the temporary store is in use. There are currently no details as to when the La Encantada store will return to its original location. Back in 2019, it was granted a patent called “Fabric-based items with stretchable bands.”In November 2024, it was granted the same patent again.
